Halesowen ( EM Gauge)

This layout is a scale model of the former Great Western and Midland Railway joint station that was located at the bottom of Mucklow Hill, Halesowen.  It is modelled as the station appeared in the mid 1930's.  Originally started in the early 1980's the layout has been extensively rebuilt to a very high standard and attended the Model Rail 1998 'Denbosch, Netherlands exhibition.

The layout featured in Railway Modeller in October 1996.

Busy time at Halesowen.  The pannier is about to depart with a workmans train to Longbridge, whence the LMS 0-6-0 has just arrived.
