If I join your club what can it offer?
 
As a member you would enjoy all the facilities that the club has to offer. These have been built up over the years by current and previous members, it is the members who make the club, ensure its future and ultimately decide on the club facilities.

(a) Layout facilities in all popular modelling gauges & scales.
(b) The club does not own its own stock, so you would have the opportunity to bring along your own favourites and run them on club layouts.
(c) An extensive library, with both borrow and reference sections.
(d) Free tea/coffee facilities.
(e) Access on any evening that the club is open (currently three nights per week) with no additional charges.
(f) The opportunity to be part of a club team when we are invited to take one of our layouts to other shows.

OK but what about the club exhibition?

One of the expectations of Warley MRC is that its members give some of their time to assist in the smooth running of the exhibition – without this assistance we would have to “buy in” services with a consequent increase in the exhibition costs.

Can I expect discounts from model shops if I become a member?

Our philosophy is that if a model shop wishes to offer discounts to our members this is a trading decision they would make. Being a member of Warley MRC would not in itself entitle you to a discount from any particular shop.
